Microgaming’s products on Android Air

Online gaming software company Microgaming has come up with eight new games for mobile devices on Android Air. Moreover, they plan to launch at least 20 more games before the end of this year. Android Air is an application based on Adobe Air. It makes it possible for developers to create and deploy high-quality applications for Android mobile devices with the aid of existing web development tools.

The new games can be accessed via an intuitively designed lobby and offers a fully renewed payment and sign-up modules. Microgaming announced that the underlying website architecture has also been revamped and now is linked directly with the server, which allows the use if Microgaming’s set of retention and acquisition tools such as Player Grouping, Bonus Balance, Player Communication Manager and VPB and a Virtual Pitboss allowing instant trigger based promotions and messaging.

Microgaming’s head of product channels Neill Whyte said that mobile has always been extremely important in Microgaming strategy for the last few years and the company already occupies a significant market share with their existing product line. He added that the mobile gaming revolution happened in the last 12 months due to the great popularity of smartphones, which represents a great opportunity for gaming providers.

Whyte also said that they believe that their brand new product will have a significant impact on the market of mobile devices and the whole gaming industry. Microgaming has the largest portfolio of games in the gaming industry, which the company can fully use the opportunity that is represented by the fast growth in Android smartphones.

The most popular game that is now available on Android Air is poker provided by French gambling operator Winamax. It has been downloaded more than 50,000 times so far.
